First up, how do the powertrain options compare? The new Titan XD now features a line-topping Cummins 5.0L V8 turbo diesel engine, which compares favorably to the competing Ford's 3.5L EcoBoost V6. Along with a higher torque rating, the Titan XD also rewards buyers with a towing capacity that the Ford F-150 can't match. Factor in the available Utili-Track channel system, which uses aluminum-alloy cleats to fasten cumbersome cargo in place, and it's clear that a changing of the guard is set to occur in the full-size pickup segment.
