The 2020 and 2019 Nissan Rogue Sports are popular compact crossovers that are highly maneuverable and boast tons of advanced technology and safety aids. They also offer impressive cargo space. The 2020 Nissan Rogue Sports offers plenty of updates to include a redesigned grille and exterior that gives it a more chiseled look, LED daytime running lights, and two new exterior paint colors. The Safety Shield 360 suite is also now standard on all models. A new luxurious 19-inch wheel is also now available. Continue reading below for a more detailed comparison of these crossovers.

Performance

The 2020 and 2019 Rogue Sport is offered in the following trims: S, SV, and SL. All trims are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is connected to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). It transmits 141 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels. All-wheel-drive (AWD) is optional. The peppy engine has plenty of power to get you in and out of traffic. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 10.2 seconds and decelerate from this speed within 115 feet. The steering for both crossovers is tight and has a natural feel. Both Rogue Sport models handle exceptionally well and feature all-season tires.

Appearance

Besides the exterior upgrades mentioned above, both Nissan Rogue Sports are designed with a beautiful blend of sharp lines, curves, contours, a highwater tailgate, and a sloped roof. The base S trim for both crossovers comes with 16-inch steel wheels, while the SV trim steps up 17-inch wheels and roof rails — the SL trim for both Sports upgrades to 19-inch wheels. The Premium Package for the SL trim includes LED headlights and a sunroof.

Features

The S trim for the 2020 and 2019 Rogue Sports comes nicely equipped with cloth seats, two USB ports, manually adjustable front seats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring, satellite radio, automatic emergency braking, a fours-speaker audio system, a backup camera, Bluetooth, and a 7.0-inch NissanConnect infotainment system.

The SV trim for both crossovers steps up to a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, and keyless start.

The SL trim for the 2020 and 2019 Rogue Sport upgrades to the following technological features: ProPilot Assist, fog lights, adaptive cruise control, heated exterior mirrors, a surround-view parking camera system, a leather-covered steering wheel with heat, remote start, leather upholstery, GPS navigation, heated front seats, voice recognition, and a nine-speaker Bose sound system.
